Estela Manteca de Aranda

Esthela was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who in life was known by all, who loved her youthful spirit and love of music and dancing. She was a devout Catholic. Never seen without her coral lipstick and hair nicely done. Estela, was born on December 26, 1931, in San Luis Potoci. She was 1 of 18 children. She has two surviving sisters and one brother. She married her husband Luis Aranda in 1959. The marriage endured until his death in 2019. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of the parish of St. Jude Thaddeus in the city of Pharr, Texas, where she resided with her family.

She is survived by their four children, as well as 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 11 pm, with a 7 pm rosary on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at St. Judes Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
