Deanna Dorothy Ward (née Hull), age 72, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born April 3, 1953, in Lansing, the daughter of Dean and Elizabeth (Prine) Hull. Deanna dedicated her working career to the State of Michigan; retiring in 2009 as a Regulation Agent for the Michigan State Police.
Surviving are her husband, James R. Ward, Jr; brothers, Dave and Steve Hull; sister, Suzie (Larry Seconsky) Wilson; sister-in-law, Barb Hull; daughters, Holly (Nate) Ryan and Katie R. King; stepchildren, Jenifer (Jeff) Roberts, Laura Ward, Sarah Ward-Quashie, and Catherine B. Ward; grandchildren Caden Ryan, Carter Ryan, Emma Ryan, Alex Roberts, Ireland (Roberts) Harrison, Calvin Quashie, RaiLynn Ward; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Deanna was a wonderful woman, great investigator, and terrific partner. She will be deeply missed.
